I was looking through some old stuff I had in one of my portfolios and found this. I always thought this was a clever design (if I say so myself) and I can't believe I don't have a digital version of it on some disc.

So the quality isn't that great but I want to put it up.

Ok, I was wrong. Here's another one. Had to make some subtle changes to the tower. I think this looks less, umm, phallic than the last couple. I think.

Decided to add one more new sketch before the weekend.

I cheated a lil bit in Photoshop but I'm not sure if it's going to stay or not. I'll see if I can come up with a better element. Till then....

And here's the last piece in my series of ads for imaginary companies. It's really a collection of layers but it looks interesting. I may have overdone the flare a bit.

And the text is pixelated, as well. I'll have to fix that.

This was an attempt at doing a psychedelic rock poster. It looks like an LSD trip but I think it still needs a bit more. And the words mean nothing, just some random phrases.

When I was in San Francisco, I always saw sushi places with the strangest names. So in honor of all those wacky restaurants, I designed an ad for an imaginary place. Oh, and if there really is a Sunshine Sushi, call me to use this.

Continuing the fantasy theme like the drawing below and yet another character design. I kind of like the cartoony aspect of the figure, if I do say so myself.

Just another new sketch I did over the weekend. The story behind this one is too geeky to mention here. So, without further ado.

One more before the weekend. This is a work in progress. I'm thinking about trying to ink this in Illustrator before coloring it. I'm thinking I can get a more consistent line inking digitally, so we'll see. I'll update as I do further work on it.

Reading through a book on punk rock, I couldn't help but fall in love with the posters. They were always so gritty, as if to reflect the music. So I decided to try my hand at it using a friend's band. I hope he won't kill me.

And if you live in NYC, be sure to check them out. They're a hard rocking band that sound like a combination Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.

I always loved the look of the iPod ads so I decided to come up with some sort of companion piece for the Aiport Express. Always fun experimenting with Illustrator.

Not crazy about the font now that I see it like this.
