Aw yeah!

Here's the finished version of the sketch below.

Insomnia sure is fun

If anything, I seem to sketch alot more while I'm wide awake at 3am. I'm sure that happens to everyone, right?

Here's a late night/early morning sketch. Have to say that the outfit looks like a reject from some bullfighter but I'm posting it anyways.

Not sure what to call this...

It's just a mish-mash of images that I have laying about in my computer, some Soviet style text and a little mixing of colors. It's an interesting experiment that kind of works in spite of some basic elements.

Cripes...

Now Photobucket is down which is why nothing is viewable.

Some might say that's a good thing but I disagree. I have to, it's my site. But here's hoping they fix it soon, I hate using ImageShack.

But it's back up now...yay Photobucket tech dudes.

Kept my word

and did a Photoshop piece. Nothing too complex but enough to get me into the flow of using the tools again. It was fun and I'm going to play around with it some more this week.

So I was wrong...

I do have another fantasy sketch. But I'm going to try and curb it, really! I have to do some more design-y stuff so that's going to be my resolution for the coming weeks.

At least this blog is living up to the name. So yeah, a couple more sketches. I'm going to try and break away from the fantasy thing for a bit. And I really need to do some more design stuff. I've gotten lax and that's never a good thing.

Which one do I prefer?

I'm kind of torn. I like that it's cleaner looking but the other (posted) version looks more alive with the red lines peaking through the inks. It's hard to choose between my babies.

And for me to spell "choose".

I don't think it came out as well as I would've liked. I'm trying to utilize a thick outline then switching to a thinner one for the details. It's something I still need to work on.
